Festival Kesenian Yogyakarta ke-27 Tahun 2015

Festival Kesenian Yogyakarta — atau yang sering disingkat dengan FKY — merupakan agenda kesenian tahunan di Jogjakarta yang telah dilaksanakan sejak tahun 1989. FKY tahun ke-26 tahun 2014 lalu diadakan di area Plasa Pasar Ngasem dari 20 Agustus – 9 September 2014.

Di tahun 2015, ini FKY ke-27 akan diadakan kembali mulai tanggal 19 Agustus – 5 September 2015. Lokasinya berada di Kompleks Taman Kuliner Condongcatur, Jogjakarta. Goodbye Nokia E72!

Nokia E72No, not that I hate my E72. I lost it. Last Monday, I reached my hometown for holiday. I liked the fact that I finally got home without loosing anything. A perfect situation. :)
On the evening, I had plan to have dinner with my girl. That should be a nice dinner. But, it turned into bad situation when I realized that I didn’t have my Nokia E72 with me. That was the time when all food were on the table. I haven’t touched anything — well, not really ‘anything’, but only some peanuts. Last time I remembered was that when I was in a taxi. I called the taxi operator and worked with the guy on the phone. I even called the taxi driver and asked him to pick us again. No luck. In short: I lost my phone. Now, I only have 5800XM with me.

Menonton dan Memotret Karnaval Festival Upacara Adat di Jogjakarta

Ketika tadi sedang ada dirumah, kira-kira pukul 15.30 sayup terdengar suara alat musik tradisional dimainkan dari pinggir jalan. Ah, tumben ada karnaval lewat. Memang ini sebuah kejadian yang agak jarang karena karnaval atau arak-arakan rata-rata diadakan di sepanjang Jalan Malioboro. Tanpa pikir panjang, langsung lari sambil nyamber kamera. Siapa tahu ada yang bisa dipotret. Jarak antara rumah dengan pinggir jalan tidak jauh, sekitar 30 meter.

Sesampainya dipinggir jalan, lha kok ternyata sudah banyak warga yang sedang asik menonton. Eyang saya — dan beberapa tetangga sekitar rumah juga sudah duduk mengambil posisi. Waaahhh… Ternyata rombongan yang terdengar tadi sudah lewat depan pintu gang rumah. Karena belum terlalu jauh, sempatkan lari saja mendahului rombongan tersebut. Untung belum jauh. Langsung ambil posisi ditengah jalan, dan mulai jeprat-jepret, tanpa tahu ini sebenarnya karnaval dalam rangka acara apa. Hehehe…

14th Yogyakarta Gamelan Festival 2009

Yogyakarta Gamelan Festival (YGF) is an annual music event in Jogjakarta. This year, it’s the 14th festival and has “EVERYWHERE” as the event theme. Anyway, this event is organized by Gayam16. There are many agenda during this event including music performance, exhibition and also workshop from July 16-18.
This event also invites musicians from some cities like Pamekasan (Madura), Tolitoli (Central Sulawesi), Solo, Jakarta and also from United Kingdom, USA, France and Japan. It’s a little bit different now. Sapto Raharjo, a gamelan music maestro, was passed away in February 2009.
The music performances will be held in Concert Hall, Taman Budaya Yogyakarta from July 16-18, 2009. And here’s the program schedule:

Road to 2,000 Flickr Photos


Last June, we marched to reach 1,000 photos in our photostream — and we made it! Now, we’re close to 2,000. Last month (August), we posted more than 860 photos. Blame Jogja Fashion Week 2008 and Jogja Food Festival! :)
I think, we’re just addicted to Flickr more, and more.

We‘re about to reach 1,000 photos in our Flickr Photostream. When we upgraded our Flickr account last February 2008, we added more photos into our sets and collections. Yeah, we do not have super camera, lenses, or any other great gadgets. But, we want to capture moments. We believe that we can reach 1,000 photos this month. It should be easy, because there is Yogyakarta Art Festival 2008. It means: more photos!

Jogjakarta Art Festival

I think today, I’m going to go to Jogjakarta Art Festival. Lala, Rapa ONE YEAR! Hehehe yeah, I met them about a year ago. Uhm I don’t know what special on this-year Jogjakarta Art Festival (known as FKY/Festival Kesenian Yogyakarta). But one of the events is about International Kite Festival. It will be held on the next July. Yeah, international, not only national. Erggh I’m still dreaming of my stuntkite. Anyone want to buy me a Stuntkite? If you don’t know what stunt kite is, take a look at this picture.
So, if people talk about wishlist, this stunt kite is one of my wishlist. Hehehe someday, I’ll buy one. *but don’t know when* And I want it with some accessories like windshocks, kite bag, handles like a kite-flyer. *pstt I’m still dreaming :)* Eerrghh.. wake up Thomas!
Well, now about template. I wrote a bit about Steal This Template, right? Now, I have made one of my templates for public. You can see and download it, and some people have joined Warnadunia Forum, have a nice discussion friends. So, the forum focuses on Weblog, and some other development. So, if you want music, entertainment, sports, don’t go there.
It’s almost 7 AM now, I think I need sleep. Have a nice weekend all!
