Mencari Monitor 27 Inchi: Apakah Produk AOC Layak Dipertimbangkan?

Monitor Dell 27 inchi seri S2721DS yang saya beli satu tahun lalu berjalan dengan sangat baik. Walaupun, saya memang lebih jarang menggunakan dibanding istri saya. Dengan beberapa pertimbangan, akhirnya kami sepakat untuk membeli satu monitor tambahan, yang akan saya gunakan untuk kebutuhan saya.

Alasannya sederhana. Monitor dengan layar lebih besar akan terasa lebih nyaman untuk bekerja. Sempat saya pertimbangkan untuk membeli monitor dengan merek yang sama, toh secara umum saya suka dan sudah cocok juga.

Tapi, harga monitor saat saya melalukan pencarian beberapa bulan terakhir ternyata mengalami perbedaan harga yang cukup signifikan. Belum lagi, ternyata stok juga banyak tidak tersedia.

Saat ini, saya mempertimbangkan untuk membeli produk monitor dari AOC. Saya sempat melihat beberapa ulasan mengenai monitor ini. Dengan pertimbangan budget dan spesifikasi yang menurut saya sudah cukup saat ini — dan untuk masa mendatang — saat ini saya mempertimbangkan AOC CQ27G3S. Ukuran 27 inchi ternyata sangat pas.

Ulasan Monitor LED Dell S2721DS 27 Inchi

Beberapa waktu setelah saya bekerja dari rumah, saya sempat terpikir untuk memiliki sebuah monitor yang berukuran agak besar untuk kenyamanan bekerja. Saya sempat gunakan juga sebenarnya “televisi” sebagai monitor, tapi tentu saja ini bukan pilihan yang bijak.

Akhirnya, setelah satu tahun lebih, saya memutuskan untuk membeli sebuah monitor yang akan saya gunakan bersama dengan 15″.

Catatan:

Tulisan ini merupakan ulasan pribadi. Pembelian barang dengan menggunakan pribadi, bukan artikel berbayar, dan saya tidak memiliki hubungan bisnis dengan produsen monitor, maupun layanan lain yang disebutkan dalam artikel ini. Hasil dan pengalaman berbeda mungkin terjadi. Saya tetap menyarankan untuk membaca terlebih dahulu spesifikasi dan ulasan lain untuk produk ini.

Karena sudah sangat lama tidak mengikuti perkembangan monitor, awalnya saya agak bingung harus memulai pencarian saya dari mana. Akhirnya, saya lemparkan pertanyaan sekaligus meminta rekomendasi melalui linimasa saya. Berikut beberapa balasan rekomendasi, atau paling tidak yang sedang dipakai:

“Beruntung” tidak terlalu banyak rekomendasi yang bisa membuat saya bisa tambah bingung menentukan pilihan. Awalnya, saya berpikir untuk membeli yang 24″ karena sudah cukup besar. Ternyata, beberapa rekan yang kesehariannya bekerja dengan monitor eksternal lebih merekomendasikan untuk ukuran 27″.

Untuk mempermudah pilihan, saya menentukan anggaran paling tinggi Rp4.000.000,-. Dan, setelah membaca beberapa ulasan, melihat ulasan dari pengguna lain, saya memutuskan untuk membeli Dell S2721DS.

Pembelian

Awalnya saya berniat untuk membeli produk ini secara langsung di toko komputer. Namun, ternyata barang ini tidak banyak bisa saya temukan. Saya tanyakan ke salah satu teman saya yang juga sudah memiliki produk ini, ternyata barang sedang tidak ada dalam stok, dan harga saat ini lebih tinggi dibanding saat dia membelinya.

Thank You, Flickr! Hello Google Photos!

When Flickr was acquired by Smugmug, I was happy. Rather than comparing between the two , they finally under one team, even Flickr and are still two separated services. I believe that Smugmug will work hard and listen to Flickr community to bring Flickr back with better features.

But, I decided to leave Flickr for Google Photos. Thank you, Flickr!

Before Instagram era, or mobile-first becomes so popular, Flickr was on the top if it's referring to /. Especially when there was Yahoo behind it.

I created my personal Flickr back in 2004 — it's 15 years ago — and I started uploading and sharing photos. When I was having close discussion with Public Communication Center of Ministry of Health and they asked me what kind of platform to choose to share photos, I recommended Flickr. The best part is they're still using it until now!

Dear Flickr,

Probably, it's just me. But, I wish you offer better experiences in — in my opinion — some of the key features.

First, help me to organise my thousand of photos. For me, it's not that easy to put multiple photos into multiple albums. I am not sure about how you handle exactly-the-same photos, or…. duplicate photos. As far as I remember, it will be treated as different photos.

I wish you can also help me to organise my uploaded photos… automagically. There are lots of faces in my photos. Help me to organise them by faces so that I can easily and quickly find photos of my wife, my sister, and also my friends.

I know that sometimes it's not about you. But, I feel that it's slow to send my photos to you. I know, it's also because you can also secure my photos in their original sizes.

I will stop talking now. I don't hate you at all. I need something that works for me better now.

Brand Republic released a list of 100 most mentioned brands on popular microblogging , Twitter. Here are the top ten (order by how many these brands were mentioned):

Do all of those brands — and the rest on the list — have their own ? No. The list does not discuss about why Twitter users mentioned those brands. Not clear whether they got positive or negative comments. They're just mentioned and popular on Twitter.
