At Web 2.0 Summit 2011 in San Fransisco, Dick Costolo (Twitter CEO) revealed some latest statistics about Twitter. Here are some facts:
- Twitter now received almost 250 million tweets every day. Last July, it was announced that Twitter got 200 million tweets per day. Is the statistic affected by more supported languages, including Bahasa Indonesia? Probably.
- Half of those users are actively logging in everyday.
- 30% of the users were logging in every day at the beginning of the year
- When iOS 5 launched, Twitter signups went up three times
