Saya: “Selamat siang, mau update terkait pemesanan.

  1. Barang ready stock, ketika saya tanyakan ketersediaan barang sesuai tautan produk;

Salah kirim kek nya. Dituker aja deh”

Sejuta topan badai!

Saya memilih untuk langsung saja ajukan komplain, tanpa menjawab apa-apa lagi. Saya rasa tidak perlu lagi melanjutkan diskusi.

Kali ini, seller Tokopedia kurang asik. Dua kali pesanan dalam satu minggu pula!

123RF’s Credit Reminder Call

Few days ago, I got a phone call from 123RF. A lady on the phone asked me why I didn’t make other purchases after I used my credits. She made sure whether I had problems with my account or else. I told her that for now, I don’t need to purchase any stock photos.

XL Center Adisutjipto Yogyakarta Resmi Dibuka

Mangkubumi, Yogyakarta. Keperluan cukup standar yaitu melakukan penggantian kartu Micro SIM, dan juga kartu Nano SIM.

Facebook Acquires Instagram

That’s right, Facebook acquires Instagram for $1 Billion in cash and stock.
Here are some points regarding this acquisition (from what Mark Zuckerberg) wrote:

  • “We plan on keeping features like the ability to post to other social networks, the ability to not share your Instagrams on Facebook if you want, and the ability to have followers and follow people separately from your friends on Facebook.”
  • “At the same time, we will try to help Instagram continue to grow by using Facebook’s strong engineering team and infrastructure.”
  • “This is an important milestone for Facebook because it’s the first time we’ve ever acquired a product and company with so many users. We don’t plan on doing many more of these, if any at all.”

Just for another reading: Google acquired YouTube for $1.65 billion in November 2006. And, here are some numbers about Instagram (Source: AllThingsD):

  • 430K+ on its Android waiting list
  • 30 million+ registered users
  • 1 billion+ photos uploaded
  • 5 million+ photos per day
  • 575 likes per second
  • 81 comments per second

Goodbye Nokia E72!

Nokia E72No, not that I hate my E72. I lost it. Last Monday, I reached my hometown for holiday. I liked the fact that I finally got home without loosing anything. A perfect situation. :)
On the evening, I had plan to have dinner with my girl. That should be a nice dinner. But, it turned into bad situation when I realized that I didn’t have my Nokia E72 with me. That was the time when all food were on the table. I haven’t touched anything — well, not really ‘anything’, but only some peanuts. Last time I remembered was that when I was in a taxi. I called the taxi operator and worked with the guy on the phone. I even called the taxi driver and asked him to pick us again. No luck. In short: I lost my phone. Now, I only have 5800XM with me.

Videoblog. Again.

With my friend, I decided to create a new videoblog. Previously, I had one at, but since I was busy and almost had no time to maintain it, I left the domain expired. Now, it has a new domain name, with a new concept. I will not talk about technology or other geeky stuff. If you like technology, you should visit Webicara, Notsogeeky, or Macindos.TV. Our new videoblog will focus on daily life.
Right now, almost all videos take Jakarta as the object. But, for me personally, I see many interesting stuff here in Jakarta — I’ve been staying in this city for almost three months. Last month, we went to Kalibata and Pasar Minggu. Not only to have durian, but also witnessing another area in Jakarta, at night. Not really at night, but can I say early in the morning?
What makes this videoblog different — from my previos one — is that I do it with a partner. He’s a good friend of mine since high school. The other important thing is that we share a same concept and understanding. It makes the videoblogging process easier. We do this videoblog mostly on weekend since we’re both working.
Anyway, the videoblog is using as its domain name. And we put our videos on YouTube. What does it mean? It might be meaningless in English, or in Indonesian language. But, you understand Javanese language, you’ll get the meaning. Yeah, it’s not a television, anyway. :D Okey, there are already some videos to watch. We have some videos on the stock about Betawi culture, food and also train (the economy class!).

The Flickr Collection on Getty Images

getty flickr
Last year, Flickr and Getty Images teamed up to build what they called The Flickr Collection on It’s available now at
What happened behind this collaboration? Flickr General Manager explains:

For the past few months, editors at Getty Images have been busy exploring the Flickrverse to find the right photos to be part of the collection — a task that is somewhat daunting when there are more than three billion images to choose from on Flickr. The goal was to choose photos that created a commercially viable collection, while preserving the inspirational and unexpected nature of the kinds of images that are so prevalent on Flickr. Like Flickr itself, this is a “living collection” and Getty Images will continue to add thousands of new images every month from here on out.

At the Getty Images’ landing site, it’s said that:

These are handpicked images with an originality and authenticity rare in stock photos. Images that are available exclusively on our site, in both rights-managed and royalty-free options.

More photos will be added into the collections.

Track Current Stock Information in Google Spreadsheet

I am not a person who got affected when there are major stock changes in the market. But, for those who need to track the stock information growth — and also use Google Spreadsheet, this is probably useful. Anyway, this will retrieve data from Google Finance.
There is a tutorial about tracking stocks in Google Spreadsheets

Instead of copying data into your worksheet, when the linked source changes, the cells in your spreadsheet will automatically update, which can save a lot of work if you pull reports regularly. This external data can be pulled from XML, other spreadsheet documents, and even (assuming you can bear to look) current and historical stock quotes from Google Finance.

Using this method, you can retrieve current stock information and also pull historical stock data. There are some spreadsheet samples you can download.
